REPRIMAND: Prostate Exams for Low Testosterone Treatment

REPRIMAND (Required Exam of PRostate IMale ANdrogen Deficiency)

As men age, their testosterone levels can drop.  According to the Mayo Clinic, this can be as high as 1% per year at age 30, and by age 70, many men can have only half the testosterone their body needs.  Up to 20% of men over 60 can have levels low enough to require medical treatment!  What can this cause?

  • Sexual changed like erectile dysfunction, loss of sexual desire, or infertility.
  • Sleep problems like insomnia or constant sleepiness
  • Body changes including weight gain (i.e. your gut!), loss of muscle, reduced endurance, loss of body hair, and swollen or tender breasts.  Yes guys, breasts!
  • Emotional changes like depression, lack of self-confidence, and memory or concentration.
Low testosterone (also called "androgen deficiency," "Low T," or "andropause") literally robs you of your manhood.  What is worse, many studies show a relationship that overly-low or high testosterone increases the risk of prostate cancer, and possibly its severity (i.e. how quickly it grows, spreads through your body, and kills you).   In other words, "male menopause" doesn't just kill your mojo, it can kill you.

The nation so focused on issues of women's health, that it is ignoring the importance and urgency of men's issues like Low-T and prostate cancer.  We must legislate mandatory prostate exams in all men seeking treatment for symptoms of low testosterone, including all those listed above.  Consider this website, that only lists a host of blood tests needed to diagnose Low T.  Or this one, that gives a host of problems for men to rule out as the cause of symptoms, but does not recommend that men ask to include a prostate exam.   We imagine that too often, men have the following conversations with their doctor about erectile dysfunction:

MAN: "I can't get it up anymore.  Can I have Cialis?"
Doctor: "Certainly, but I need to run a few tests to make sure it is safe for you."
MAN: "Sure, as long as it isn't a rectal exam."
Doctor: "Well these are important for your general health but not really necessary for ED medications like Cialis."
MAN: "Phew.  Then skip it doc!"

By legally requiring that all doctors and healthcare professionals give men a full prostate exam when treating not only issues of erectile dysfunction, but all symptoms that point towards low or high testosterone, we can ensure that men receive the critical, preventative care they need.  Prostate cancer accounts for 10% of the cancer deaths among men in this country. That number is too high!  If manual (also known as digital) prostate exams can save even a fraction of those lives, and if men with abnormal testosterone are more likely to die from prostate cancer, then such tests must be mandatory to ensure we aren't killing the patient through an incomplete cure.

That is why we are putting men with Low-T in the crosshairs of medical preventative care.  Early diagnosis saves money and lives.  Can we afford to ignore our men any longer?  The REPRIMAND law (Required Exam of PRostate IMale ANdrogen Deficiency) will ensure that men get their fair share:  Any man seeking diagnosis or treatment for low testosterone or any subset of its symptoms must undergo a mandatory rectal prostate exam.

    Hi,

Healthline just designed a virtual guide explaining how testosterone affects the body. You can see the infographic here: http://www.healthline.com/health/low-testosterone/effects-on-body

This is valuable med-reviewed information that can help a man understand how affects multiple parts of their bodies and the side effects that occur from having low testosterone. I thought this would be of interest to your audience, and I’m writing to see if you would include this as a resource on your page: http://reprimand-law.blogspot.com/p/reprimand-prostate-exams-for-low.html

If you do not believe this would be a good fit for a resource on your site, even sharing this on your social communities would be a great alternative to help get the word out.

Thanks so much for taking the time to review. Please let me know your thoughts and if I can answer any questions for you.

    All the best,

  4. Declining testosterone levels should not be cause for panic, much less for extreme anxiety. You are still a man despite your lesser sex drive, or your smaller erections within shorter periods, or your lower frequency of nocturnal erections although you may feel otherwise.

  6. The male enhancement exercises are techniques that stimulate new tissue formation. There are various different possibilities – stretching, jelqing, kegel exercises and ballooning are just a few of the possible option.

Most often, these exercises involve penile massage that improves blood circulation or they involve stretching the tissue away from the body. Such techniques will ultimately result in sexual enhancement like size increase, bigger erections and more sexual control.

  8. And also Doctors should not be so focused on men's rear ends so much, it really seems that there are some repressed homosexual tendencies with all of that......

  9. Testosterone is a hormone that has a significant impact on male health. This hormone is responsible for the proper sexual response, the production of other hormones and the ability of men to build lean muscle mass fast.

It also affects the central nervous system, circulatory and skin health.

Most people link testosterone to the effect it has on sexual function. Low testosterone levels are connected to low libido – a problem that could have a detrimental impact on personal life and relationships.

  10. Once your testosterone level lowers, your sexual performance is affected, so thus your overall health. It influences your mood, self-confidence and even your perspective towards life.

  11. Penis enlargement and male enhancement comes in many forms. Overall, those seeking out improvements in sexual performance are seeking products capable of improving erections in terms of both firmness and size. A number of penis enlargement pills on the market make claims – and a few outrageous ones – about delivering on all the consumer’s expectations.

  12. Male enhancement supplements are divided in several categories – penis increase pills, semen pills, products for overcoming erectile dysfunction and natural fertility boosters for men.

When evaluating these products, I’ll be relying on the same universal criteria. Thus, all of the reviews will be easy to go through and you’ll also know how to access the information that matters the most to you.

  13. Quitting smoking and improving one’s diet rank among the best approaches for treating ED non-invasively. A healthy heart should be the primary focus. Strengthened erectile response will follow as a consequence.

Get in the habit of working out, walking and spending more time outdoor. Find a release for chronic stress, especially if your ED seems to have a psychological root.

  14. HGH primarily tells our body what it has to do. It makes sure that our cells, bones and muscles carry on with regeneration at a good pace. When we are in our twenties, it still does the same job but a slower pace.

The HGH has an anabolic effect on our body, that it enhances our body’s metabolism. However, when HGH levels drop, there is a marked difference in the form of appearance of wrinkles, weaker immunity, age spots, fatigue, reduced energy, change in sleeping pattern, etc.

  15. The main reason it is so difficult to choose the right semen enhancement capsule is that the consumer is a novice. Someone who has purchased a number of male enhancement products over the years likely knows which name brands are the tops and which ones are the pits.
